The purpose of the foundation is the promotion of non-profit and charitable goals. The foundation charter leaves a large amount of flexibility. All investment proceeds have to primarily be used for the following:

• the support of “people in need” (the sick and elderly, as well as mentally and physically disabled children);
• for the promotion of education and schooling (e.g. support of
  children homes and youth centers)
• for scientific projects (e.g. cancer research)
• for the peaceful co-existence and co-operation in society and culture (e.g. peace corps mission of Christian churches)
• for the promotion of cultural purposes (e.g. the maintenance of cultural works).
